Southeastern Grocers, Inc. (SEG), parent company of BI-LO, Fresco y Más, Harveys Supermarket and Winn-Dixie grocery stores, needed to usher in a new customer rewards program.

While they were at it, they wanted to optimize their website for increased engagement.

Brand Extensions

Brand consistency combined with speed of development can be achieved through a comprehensive UI Kit. This toolbox enabled team members to move forward with clear instructions.


Accessibility

Starting with updating for WCAG 2.0 compliance, this redesign also implemented mobile-responsive design practices and improved information architecture.

Rewards

Users wanted and needed access to their rewards points. Transitioning users into a new rewards platform provided a great opportunity to accomplish:

  1. Active engagement with a loyalty program.

  2. Better understanding of customer preferences.

  3. Personalized rewards.
